I began my career in California-based nonprofit management in 1999. I have extensive experience with both 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(6) and other organizations in the areas of strategic planning, communications, legislative advocacy, governance, finance, operations, risk management, human resources, and regulatory compliance. I earned two master’s degrees from California State University Sacramento – one in English, and one in Public Policy & Administration. I also earned a Certificate from the University of South Florida in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace, and hold the Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation from the American Society of Association Executives.
I take a holistic approach to consulting work with organizations. I work closely with executives and boards to understand their goals and challenges, and to develop and recommend policies and solutions that address their specific needs and best interests. My approach is collaborative, transparent, and goal-oriented.
